I don’t understand fashion

日に日に寒くなっている。同時に皆は秋・冬のファションを着はじめる。だから色がなくなるやら、黒色や茶色だけ見えるやら。日本で秋から春まで人々は明るい色な服を着ない。どこでも黒色や茶色だけ見える。そして僕はいつも明るい色ものを着ること頑張っている。例えば、黒いジャケットの下に紫パーカを着る。黒いだけ見たら悲しい感じが来る。

The weather is getting colder day by day.  At the same time, people are starting to wear their fall and winter fashions.  Colors are disappearing and all you can see are black and brown.  In Japan, it seems that from fall till spring people don’t wear any bright clothes.  Everywhere you look all you see is black and brown.  Therefore I try to always wear something bright during these times.  For example, a black jacket with a purple hoody.  If the only thing you see is black, sadness follows.
